I met Dan at the Old Covered Bridge (yes, it's really called that!) in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The rain was sprinkling as we waited for Dana. When she did arrive, Dan turned his back and waited for his bride.
On our way to the ceremony, we pulled off at one of the many farms in the area. The sunlight was just breaking through some of the clouds and created this beautiful warm haze.
The ceremony took place in the bride's mother's backyard. A gorgeous birch arbor, surrounded by flowers, hay bales, and pumpkins sat at the front of all their family and friends.
Something so incredibly intimate and special about a backyard wedding. No microphones and speakers -- It's more of a conversation with your friends and family.
Dana's bouquet was made by Township Four Floristry.
After the ceremony, cocktails and Cornhole came out. The family circled around on the patio and the porch upstairs to watch the competition.
At the end of the night, the newlyweds shared dances with their mother and father, and then with each other.
This was such a special night. I'm so happy I got to capture every moment.
