Hello!

I am Aurora Hooper, and I would love to take your photo. I am currently based in Southern Maine and when I am not shooting and editing photos and videos, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors exploring New England.

My passion for photography and film began at a young age, when my family would spend summers at a lake house in Maine. I brought my camera everywhere, capturing fun moments and creating videos for my family to enjoy. That passion grew as I entered high school, and I found different avenues to showcase my skillset. My love for photography and film led me to pursue and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Film.

Beginning in 2017, I worked at L.L.Bean’s photography studio as a freelance photo assistant. While there, I helped the photographers stage and light their set, and prepare and arrange the products to be photographed. Those photos were later used across multiple L.L.Bean marketing platforms, including their catalog, website and social media accounts.

During the 2017-2018 Ski Season, I worked at Mount Snow in Dover, Vermont as their Content Creator. Throughout the season, I shot and edited photos and videos for their social media platforms and website. You can see some of my favorites here.

In 2018, I started working for L.L.Bean in their Photo Operations Department. Since starting here, I edited and compiled L.L.Bean’s Appalachian Trail Relay Campaign video. I also shot and edited the video of L.L.Bean’s participation in the 2018 Red Sox World Series Parade, which was definitely a highlight of my photography and film career.

When I am not working my day job at L.L.Bean, I love connecting and taking photos with both reoccurring and new clients alike. I take great pride in getting to know my clients personally and working with them to figure out exactly what they want to capture from their shoot.  Whether it is taking portraits of you and your family, shooting your engagement or wedding photos, or helping you to market your business, I would love to capture your special moments for you to cherish.

I would love to talk to you about setting up a shoot. Send me a message!
